I got more than a few critiques for Liz going full Queen of Hearts here. Those who questioned my application of comedic license are doubtlessly snorting up the delicate bouquet of validation.

Also doubtless: The Queen of Hearts in this new scenario will be Valiant.

Between this and Grave of the Fireflies, I can't think of two other animated movies capable of delivering an effective gut-punch at the end.

I recommend "How To Draw Comics The Marvel Way" to beginners all the time, because every lesson it teaches about comic composition and technique is correct and necessary.

This newly-released cover breaks and defies every single basic principle taught by that book.

@AbominableMech1 What I meant by my comment is the overall range of French cartooning, from the cartoonish Modeste et Pompon all the way to be-all-end-all Moebius; and how they've been consistent in this quality. Unlike the United States.
