Men get a bad rap, but most just want a loving family.
So many men live without love. After childhood, all affection stops. If they even get affection as children, which many don’t.
They live alone. Cold. They remember every hug or compliment 10 years afterward.
Our culture cannot stay this way. Men are not meant to live like this.
If one person is upset, you’ve both got a problem. Work together to resolve the hurt that underlies the anger instead of attacking them for being angry (and secretly hurt).
It’s too easy to jump into a relationship with both feet before checking what the other person wants and how they’ll treat you. Take time to make sure they’ll see you as a person instead of as an object to help them feel good.
They don’t have to put you on a pedestal, but don’t let them put you in the trash.
Some people are just discovering that men receive almost zero physical comfort or affection. Most men can’t even imagine it.
