then i started studying the backgrounds in the show hilda and the way they use colors and simple shapes to convey depth

this was my first attempt at an actual background other than just maybe bush. i didnt use a reference and had no clue how to draw grass

im attempting to redesign some of my least favorite shiny pokemon, starting with my all-time least favorite, shiny tranquill! the colors on my redesign are based on the jambu fruit dove cuz i wanted to keep the green
