"I think that the children talking about personal experiences was the thing that stuck with me. The rest of the class were showing empathy and even the most challenging pupil was able to share a personal experience that otherwise wouldn't have been discussed in school"

We're really excited today as @WellgatePrimary have just received our brilliant @toylikeme Toy Box Tales art and learning resources. Over the next 2 weeks, every child in the school will be able to play with them and take part in conversations exploring disability. #noboundaries
The next stop on our Toy Box Tales tour will be Summerfields Primary Academy in Royston. This amazing resource created by @toylikeme will help to inspire playful conversations about children and disability by using toys. We can't wait to share!

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, our pop-up @toylikeme exhibition will no longer open at Goldthorpe Library 7th Aug.
However, this does mean that it now has an extended run at Wombwell Library, where it is now free to view until 26th Aug.
@BarnsleyLibs
Toy Box Tales is a pop-up exhibition with learning resources touring schools and venues in Barnsley 2021.
This collection comes to Barnsley through a year-long partnership with @toylikeme who advocate for inclusive & positive representation of children with disability in toys.
Did anyone come and see Faiza Omar's exhibition before we closed?
If not, we've got a little bit of good news.
We are in the process of putting the whole exhibition on our website, so you can all see it from the comfort of home🏠
HUGE thanks to @GingerFoxStudio for your help
Happy International Women's Day!
We've had two fantastic artists- Paula Chambers and Faiza Omar -showcase their work with us this quarter, giving great insight and playfully challenging the behaviours that are expected of women
What female artists inspire you?
