One of the hardest parts of writing a "real" dark slice of life is using really hateful language in the writing...
for example, in season 2, Ian gets called the "r- slur" a LOT because they don't speak- and are very unsocial.

The other MFer that makes me crazy is Sacha. He is such an emotional softy/ overprotective beb- but for him, any non-positive emotion turns into anger. Scared? anger. Sad? anger. When he makes a commitment to someone he'd sooner die than break it-- which makes him a wary guy...

TBH I feel really bad for Nick. He is always perceived as a f* boy, DTF, booty call that will always answer the phone. But really he's starving for a real connection, someone who will be there as a ride or die, and not hide him as a secret-- but that's also scary... #oc
