One of the best changes we’ve seen in TOtK is how they’ve created an incentive to fight enemies

Monster parts were mostly useless in botw, but now you can use them to create weapons or power up your arrows.

Moblins now have weapon parts growing from their heads too

The art director is Tomoko Nishii.

Seemingly unknown till now, they had previously worked on the Nier Automata storybook sequences.

They were also one of the winners of an internal art competition at PlatinumGames.

I remember their Smith Reaper really standing out

Originally drew Link looking at Navi on his shoulder.

Tried to base her design on Ocarina of Time’s Great Fairy.

Not sure it fits, but I think she’s kind of cute
haha

This year’s Marie Day drawing is kind of a direct remake of a drawing I did in 2021
