Mako wants to make a difference & become a detective but that doesn't get him far.

Asami is left to run a failing mega-corporation by herself at 18.

Korra is constantly being shown a world that doesn't want the Avatar.

They all have real struggles outside of saving the world.

So today is the 10th Anniversary of The Legend of Korra. Of the two animated series its my favorite despite the plot not always being the best. A lot of that has to do with the themes and ideas it touches on that challenges normal media.

I'd like to touch on a few today.

Favorite In-Game Battle: Challenging the Battle Subway Conductors Ingo and Emmett. I remember the first time @PrinceZexu and challenged them at the end of our run and they just clapped us. It was always a treat to fight them.

Favorite Elite Four Member: Sidney. His out fit, his hair, his team that had a great typing spread. This guy seriously doesn't get enough love.

Favorite Gym Leader/Trial Leader: Blaine. Blaine had such a cool role in the pokemon manga. Largely based around that

Favorite Galar Form: Farfetch'd. They turned it into an angry bird with a gigantic sword (Leek). I fucking love this and Sir Fetch'd so much

Favorite Alola Form: Marrowak. God its so cool. A ghost fire that turns its club into a torch!
