Finally listened to @smithsmm and started @philipreeve1's Mortal Engines! How ace is the opening line:
'It was a dark, blustery afternoon in spring, and the city of London was chasing a small mining town across the dried-out bed of the old North Sea.'
So many immediate questions!

@MrBoothY6 @AndyStanton15 @LaytonNeal A book that everyone should know and love because it has a brilliant voice and is very funny, is Hoot Owl by @seantstories and Jean Jullien.
I love a character with attitude. Anyone that gives you as a reader the opportunity to really go for it when reading. The Cat in the Oi Frog series is a winner for me!
