@Slade4Lucas @eIixirsoup @NintendoUK I mean, that's the point. I get what you mean, tweaked Tour ports are undoubtedly lower fidelity than Mario Kart 8, but the SNES Mario Circuits are paved over dirt, while Donut Plains is dirt roads on grass.
Even if it was up to the quality of MK8, Mario Circuit would be muddy.

@LuckiiBean Yeah I get that he's technically the one that people are making their own take on, but still it all comes back to Sonic.
However, I think cropping this video just made the stupidest nonsense I have and it shouldn't be this funny.

Ignoring that it, yknow, would have gotten sequels if Rare hadn't been bought out 5 years later, and even then still ended up technically making 2 more games in the series.

Also ignoring that lack of sequels is irrelevant to compare 2 games.

@TripleKyun Speaking of the Banjo-Kazooie box art, I've always loved how the japanese boxart is like Rare's own take on the japanese Mario 64 boxart, mirroring how BK was Rare's take on SM64's formula.
