#XSpoilers And we get this scene recontextualized. Xavier's acting with all the knowledge of Moira's previous iterations. There's some nice metatextual stuff happening here with regard to previous X-Men stories too.
#XSpoilers It feels very good after years of fan discussions surrounding Xavier's flaws to have a writer state them so plainly.
#XSpoilers So this Moira reincarnates? Also, opening quote suggests she made a deal with Apocalypse. Possible she's just a mutant (was sick at 13, powers manifested, she got better).
Ugh, 'necessity' always means 'murder and/or torture' in these contexts.
Otherwise, I kind of like this Nimrod. Villains with a sense of fun are great and terrible all at once!
This panel does not indicate a hierarchical relationship between Omega and Nimrod to me. Partners or co-equal heads of different divisions of this Machine Supremacy thing?
And back! That Orchis at some point breeds its own mutants to act as hounds isn't all foreboding.
This is more a headcanon thing than anything, but I don't buy that it's only been ten years since Xavier conceived of the X-Men. The O5 are all in their early 40s by now, and you can't convince me otherwise.
