Best Marvel Christmas covers:
Marvel Holiday Special 1993 - Arthur Adams
Spectacular Spider-Man 112 - Kyle Baker
Punisher Silent Knight - Mike Deodato
Marvel Holiday Special (2006) - Frazer Irving
Just discovered the existence of Alex Ross's artwork of The Beatles.
Absolutely phenomenal and stunning pieces.
Wow.
This Jorge Molina variant for Dark Knights Of Steel 10 is nothing short of phenomenal
77. Transformers The Movie
2nd-string Autobots vs a villain that's both Galactus & Death Star.
There's a silly middle act with Sharkticons & junk bots, but ultimately it is an 80s kids movie.
Very good final act, great voice cast & a solid soundtrack. Light & fun.
Not showing his electric powers, but another *stunning* Adventures Of Superman: Jon Kent cover by A.L Kaplan
I don't know hear this, but I am fully on board for Jon Kent's Electric Superman era.
Adventures Of Superman: Jon Kent covers by Clayton Henry and Zu Orzu
Always been fond of these ones too:
94 - Al Milgrom
129 - Ed Hannigan & John Byrne
Annual 4 - Frank Miller & Joe Rubenstein (a comic which I suspect was influential to a young Brian Michael Bendis)
I am just now discovering that Jae Lee did the art on a Transformers/GI Joe mini set in WW2.
To say I need it would be an understatement.
This was a pleasant surprise.
Went on to the DC Infinite App and came across DC Speechless by Gustavo Duarte
As the title suggests, it's a silent 11 page story ft Harley Quinn. Lovely art with really clever and fun ways of communicating the story that can only be done in comics
Following on from this, here's a full breakdown on everything from Timeless (2021) that never came to be... https://t.co/0THhaVklEN
