Some time ago we launched a Jubilee sculpture competition. Here is the winning design, created and digitally rendered by Jacob in yr11. We can't wait to see it realised. Each tree ring represents a decade... 🌳👑
Some more fantastic A level work worth showcasing from the 2020 cohort....
Year 9 have just created some excellent own responses to the work of artist Seth Clark, some hand drawn, some digitally composed and some 3D. Amazing work.
But I am also in receipt of some stunning paintings. It has been a highly productive few weeks... well done artists!
Given we can't access the art room many students have been successfully embracing digital working. Well done Yash, Ben and Nate!
Looking forward to welcoming parents to the print workshop tomorrow evening, please arrive in time for a 7pm start in the art room. Parking details are on the bulletin.
Yr9 have been closely drawing from Karl Blossfeldt’s stunning photos, it has improved their use of textural marks. One of these is my example and I don’t think you can tell which one it is, I’m so impressed with the intense focus and skill that these students are displaying.
What a great variety of mediums in these Year 8 self portraiture project homework submissions.
