‘She became hare and harrier, lark and hawk, pigeon, partridge and plover. But her greatest joy was to become a milk white doe, racing across the high moor. Thus she learned the secret lore and language of the earth’

“I shall go into a hare,
With sorrow and sych and meickle care;
And I shall go in the Devil's name,
Ay while I come home again
Hare, hare, God send thee care.
I am in a hare's likeness now,
But I shall be in a woman's likeness even now”

A few Images from my introduction to gelplate printing workshop at @MyArtshack today. A lovely group of folk, most completely new to the technique, happily experimented and explored their way through 6 hours of time and a huge amount of paper and paint. Perfect.
Decided to do some printing today ahead of tomorrow’s workshop and had one of those days when the mojo proves horribly elusive and I was stressed and frustrated in an ‘I can’t even do this any more! Sort of way...
son advised a walk.
It helped. Made these when I got back.
