Since 1983, Letterbox Library has sought out BH titles.
In our printed catalogue days, BH was often a themed focus.
In 2003, we began to curate school book packs. Our first 5 packs included Black History Key Stage 1&2...
This morning’s brief: “Please put together £160 worth of funny books (which are also inclusive/representative) for a 6-yr-old. Contents should include monsters, dinosaurs, farts & dragons”.
And today we sent these Eid cuddles, snapping sharks, rainbows and flouncy cakes, all in book form(!), to 320 nurseries (ills S.Adl&tagged)
And today, this biography of Michaela DePrince, a buzzy art class and some rapping dinosaurs are all on their happy way to 320 nurseries.
