The last panel that I drew for Stump #2 and I just realized that it looks a bit sketchy when viewed out of context. :)
Also, I was in such a rush at this point that I didn't even notice the mistake in Stump's hand until after I had submitted it to print.
Panels like this one are probably why it's taking me so long to get Stump #2 finished, but what's the fun in creating comics if you can't go overboard in unnecessary details every once in a while?
3 (mostly) complete pages from Stump #2! I did remove some dialog to avoid spoilers and I'll continue to revise the script right up until the print file is ready. If you haven't backed it yet, the book is InDemand now: https://t.co/eAffd2IUQZ
My original idea for the Mangrell, in Stump #2, was to give him bright "baboon snout" colors on his face. It would look about like this and I wanted to get people's thoughts before I go and start recoloring his nose throughout the book.
A flashback to the first Mangrell transformation. A new page from Stump #2, InDemand now!

Finding new ways to visualize two characters standing around talking is one of the more fun aspects of making a comic. Here's one panel from Stump #2 where I decided to contrast the static, flat angle with some dramatic lighting. Presented with and without word balloons.
New page from Stump #2, introducing a new character! I haven't talked about her before, but she's been a part of the Mangrell's origin story since the beginning.
Here's a link to the campaign, which currently has about 5 days left: https://t.co/Ra6Aan7vDD
A 4-page preview of Stump #2. I plan to go live with the campaign before the end of the month.
