Process WIP When I work on images that I don't have direct lighting ref for, this tends to be my process.
I fill the pencil work with a mid grey. I then spend a hour-ish doing a crude shadow pass, and the same with light.
These are on separate layers so I can alter them easily.
Sometimes I do little odd things like these objective markers.

The lost were a homebrew idea of stormcast who still fought to liberate people from oppression, but no longer worship Sigmar.
