I think one of my favorite tropes is the always goofy or laid back character getting serious. 99% of the time they don’t seem to be bothered, but then they get miffed about something. Really makes the times they do get serious stand out.

1. Gyarados. Was stupid good back in gen 1 when it had the same base 100 special attack stat as Mew and is still relevant today even with modern power creep.

@Chrismas95 A decent amount of n64 games just had tasty looking environments. I specifically remember climbing the bean stalk in paper Mario and the background was a bunch of desserts clouds.

@VinnyTheUHHH Petting an arcanine sounds fun. Living in a world with 3 foot tall 65 pound angry bees that can stab through steel? Not so much.
