I've been a 3D artist for many years now, and I can't believe I only just discovered this: Applying negative smoothing before a subdivision can really preserve the shape of a low poly model. This is a big deal for me. But perhaps this was common knowledge.

A friend and I challenged each other to a 2-hour painting challenge to step out of our comfort zone: He has to draw a cute character and I have to draw a futuristic landscape.
I hate painting architecture, and I'm super uncomfortable with it. But I'm proud I did something anyway.

I had the pleasure to attend two #DnD sessions with @Ludimist, who's an awesome DM. Also, the halfling mecha-unicorn character is bloody brilliant, but she didn't like to be credited. Mine's the emo half-elf pop-star in distress.
