A 5 Tern morning could have easily been 6 if I had bothered to look for Common Tern. There were Arctic, Little, Sandwich, Roseate and American Black at the Long Nanny this morning.

On Sunday 17 Great crested Grebes were on the sea at Alnmouth, with one pair in winter plumage displaying with head shaking and presenting seaweed.
