This is a short story about a likely future where humanity has destroyed the world, leaving no one else to admire the beauty of the infinite universe.
It's a very Carl Sagan-esque fable despite the anime trappings, and I get teary just thinking about it #GOTY2020

1. SeaBed
Despite being 1 VN, it's even more of a slow-burn than Higurashi. Rather than a cutesy yuri romance, it's a surreal dive into the nature of memory, love, loss, and the small things that are good and beautiful in life.
Heaved sobs well after the credits rolled. #GOTY2020

5. Silus
A cute, mid-length RPG that sharply emulates the charm and style of 90s JRPGs (particularly Falcom's and Game Arts'), while also injecting the creator's own brand of quirkiness. Every bit of this game exudes love and passion for JRPGs. #GOTY2020

8. ENIGMA:
An excellent fantasy visual novel that presents an interesting twist on the "drifter protag shipwrecks himself into ancient ruins and heroism," and as a result ends up asking some interesting questions as to what is expected from a "hero."

9. Mario's Mystery Meat
For a meme game filled with inside jokes made for a streamer I don't actively follow, I was honestly shocked with how much I enjoyed this game's 1ish hr. runtime. The absurdist humor is fine, but the level design is some really inspired stuff.

I don't know if Ryukishi07 or someone adhering to his style did the art to the Higurashi Drama CDs, but they are a Delight.
