Fabulous colour mixing by year 6

Year 6 were exploring charcoal today to create these commemorative pictures inspired by the artist Jacqueline Hurley.

As part of their Enquiry, ‘How can we reduce our impact on Planet Earth’ Year 6 have studied nests. We explored how to create tone and texture using mixed media.

This week, Year 6 have been designing their own dragon characters and today, were set the challenge of writing a 500-word story. Well done to Connie, Betty, and Dylan who are our Year 6 writing competition winners!
