Just watched some OG Astroboy for the 1st time & my goodness is it good. It's got some really creative limited animation, great bg & character drawings. I also like how they go for grand stories, but put in stupid Looney Tunes gags, it's great.
Even FLCL knew to keep the characters mouths shut. Everybody talks about the wacky stuff, but nobody talks about how half of an episode would keep the characters silent.
