It's not exclusive to Netflix, but many shows do it, and it lacks personality to me. Now think to how THESE characters walk or run. A lot about a character's personality can be subtly portrayed through their walk/run cycles, and I feel that's been lost a bit in recent years.

@GiantLaughing @common_next And finally, just so the connection with Lupin isn't lost, Gadget was also somewhat modeled after Inspector Zenigata, the skilled, though similarly bumbling cop character from the anime Lupin series. And the rest is history, I guess.
@GiantLaughing @common_next The aforementioned Get Smart and Clouseau were deeply rooted into the character, but Heyward, fresh off the heels of Hanna Barbera, liked the idea of Dyno-Mutt's bumbling and gadgets, and put that into the character
