Finally, Stray. Newest arrival, new sona. One of the few designs not initially based off specific characters or concepts. Personal fave.
The latter part of the year kind of exploded with Stray art, so I'm probably gonna chill on them for a while. Barnacle Boy Laser The Meow Meow
Temp, previously known as New Girl, previously known as Jay. Sort of a mascot character, replacing what Sherry and Iris were at some point.
Pretty much 100% happy with her, though I'd like to get more pieces with her hair dyed white
Iris was basically an exercise in making an OC 100% tailored to myself, which was fun. Probably want to solidify a main hairstyle, since her appearance tends to vary by artist like Sherry.
Rei, full name Reimu Edelgard because I lost a bet. High-class sukeban, hates Robin. Wanted a panda for a while and she turned out pretty much perfect. Another fan fave.
I'd like to get more pieces of her interacting with other OCs, 'cause I think that's where she shines best.
Platina! Wanted to try a cute character for a change. Threw in some urban fantasy stuff 'cause why not. Name definitely not ripping off Metallia
Solidified her outfit this year, so hope to get more art of her in the near future.
Ash, possessed half-demon girl. Most of my OCs up to this point were pretty simple, so I wanted to try something with the duality aspect. Has the most backstory, but still open-ended as usual.
Still like her design, might give it some touch-ups cause she needs some love.
Pretty sure the backstory behind making Coda was going "I want a big lion guy" and making a big lion guy. Definitely a fan-favorite.
Thinking of giving him a "canon" outfit that combines the stuff he's worn in previous commissions.
Robin is a little funny to look back on, 'cause I made him back when I was in a "loud and proud furry" phase and I've since mellowed out.
He's a nice contrast from the rest of the cast, so he probably won't change too drastically in the future, but might get some touching up
For the end of the year, I'm posting my favorite pieces of (almost) every OC, starting with Dust.
Somehow over the year he went from a fursona to a wholly separate character. It gave me more wiggle room with his characterization, and ironically I've liked him even more since.
