Dotted about the waters here you may spot a Blushbloom - a small and pale succulent with bulbous sausage shaped leaves. If you tickle its roots, its leaves turn pink!

The heat of the Burning Fen has given rise to a variety of plants that survive these harsh conditions. Spice Berries grow on blackened brambles throughout the fen, and are used by Soddeners to add heat to their cuisine.

The Hackled Rose grows on bushes amongst the Spike Grass. Its barbs can grow so thick that some Soddeners have been known to use a rose as an improvised weapon in a pinch!

Onto the Bubble Bogs. Cover your nose - the stench of the stink lilies can be quite pungent! This soupy quagmire lies in the darkest part of the ‘Weald, where the silt has thickened to sludge, & gaseous reactions underneath the drek bubble to the surface in globulous plops.

Another street pest found in the Soddenweald is the pesky Muckhopper. Hopping from puddle to puddle and scrounging morsels of food from the ground, these toothy fish sometimes even latch on to passersby to hitch a ride to the next puddle!

This swampland is bubbling with wild magic, which means strange creatures, unpredictable surges of magic, and amber slimes shlorping through the marshes… Watch out for those pesky Gullrats!
