Another great day of birding with a lifer of White-fronted Goose at Loch Ken. Seawatch from Stranraer produced a Merlin, Red-throated Diver, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers and 8 Goldeneye. Also a big raft of ducks any ideas what they are? Maybe Eiders? Sorry for bad pics

Over 4 nights in Arisaig, I trapped 221 moths/40 species. Many new moths for me, some highlights being Anomalous, Canary-shouldered Thorn, Pale Eggar and Centre-barred Sallow. #mothsmatter #teammoth @BritishMoths @savebutterflies
