A new little poetry book, as a treat ☺️ Compendium is different than what I usually put out, but it joins my bookshelf as the 2nd non-fiction piece I've published.
It's a quick read, available starting today in my online store:

"I'll watch as little birds pick and peck. They will underestimate me. This will be their downfall."
Rose says "estimate me" as she channels her inner pokeberry. It seems like she thinks pokeberries are poison to birds? She might not understand plants as well as she thinks.
She has the most beautiful voice. She's saying the words I need. Suddenly, I'm Violet—a means to an end.
More OOATN flowers! This time, Rose gets flustered trying to gather information at the local tavern.
I am camellia leaves, steeping away.
Rose likens herself to tea in OOATN—very dramatic of her, I approve.
He was sweet, probably. He once told me that my hair looked like the red of kalina berries.
More plants (and angst and unrequited feelings) from OOATN.
Teddy lets his magic go, and @kaizuart does some magic of their own, transforming my scene of stick figures into a moment of healing between my two favorite trans kids.
A small break for more concept art. Elves feature prominently in the River's End universe, because I grew up steeped in elf lore. Maderlav elves (Drada) are pretty typical. They produce lucents, see in the dark, and hear exceptionally well. They're also fussy af and love layering
Did y'all see this beautiful drawing from @kaizuart? ❤ Elsie is feeling a bit off color, evanescing isn't pleasant and MAGIC IS ALSO REAL?! Fletcher, you may wanna move, she's definitely gonna puke

Isa Mirestva (they/them) 💜💛🖤 Huge shout-out to @kaizuart for this gorgeous drawing of my favorite medic!
Excuse me while I gush over this gorgeous scene from FESTIVAL OF FROST by the talented @kaizuart
I've spent a lot of time with Lilah, Juli, and Grayson, and I'm beyond words seeing them brought to life ❤
