Making or getting buildings for sci fi is relatively easy - it's the details that will make it - hanging cables, dripping pipes and vents, posters and neon signs and stuff can add the aesthetic to any "square box building".
Combine that with street furniture and the odd vehicle .
Anyway, while 40k/Necromunda terrain is thematic, it doesn't scream "hard sci-fi" to me.
The aesthetic that I'm going after is the slums of Blade Runner/Killjoys/Fifth Element/Aliens and the shiny top tech look of... well, the same. The scummy bits are just more rusty and used.
