@RebelTaxi A more subtle Crash design, but I was always fond of his post-Naughty Dog, pre-Radical look (i.e. making his lips and belly the same color). I always thought his big, fleshy colored lips were a strange design choice.
The chonky bods were based on strange Sonic fanart I posted to deviantArt seven years ago (left), albeit with some modifications (right). Don't ask why they have belly buttons, or why Sonic has an outie. It just makes me laff.
Some before and after designs of the gal (left circa 2015, right circa 2019). I wasn't super thrilled with how her hair looked so I was just about ready to redo entirely. As you can see I never got around to lineart or colors.
Years ago I tried to adapt my senior film Treat into a "pitch" for the Nickelodeon Animated Shorts program after undergrad, but it never made it past some concept designs and a script. Ah well! It's funny how much my art has changed since (left image circa 2015, right circa 2019)
My college fren @GeenaFontanella will be competing on #AmericanIdol tonight at 8/7 Central! WOO WOO! So happy to see how far she's come. Tune in and cheer her on with me!
