It's like they made bets at DC Comics who could make Starfire look worse (outfit or anatomy) or make her more boring.

Id like to think Superman would have no problem with Jon Kent being Bi but have a problem with Jay Nakamura considering who Jay associates with and his "the ends justifies the means" attitude.
