First few panels of the Interlude chapter I illustrated for DOORKEEPER. I realize now that, despite having an inscrutable door for a face, I drew him looking pretty forlorn in the last panel. Immortal beings need friends too!

This was a real leap forward! Hello, I didn't work on this book officially, but it was my entry to in 2016. It was really everything I could throw at the time. I was very nervous & struggling with a lot of other things — it showed! But I got in anyway.🥺

Sharing a little preview since mentioned it. Here's a glow-up for a book I illustrated for . This is 2019 vs 2016, respectively. Although the styling is vastly different, I felt the original cover needed a lot more pop. Great experience though!

Something sweet & something unfinished — made these fun paintings a while back inspired by 's Creative Cloud demos. I had just realized I didn't have to be so precise w my marks; that play is important. Such a simple thought, but it really changed a lot for me.
