Sketch vs final
I also really enjoy to see everybody's process. 💜 https://t.co/XEoVKWPa13
I am pretty easily intimidated by new painting Media, so I have had my gouache colours lying around for around 3 years without really getting into it. This year I wanted to change that, so I did a little portrait of the fey Eidolon of Orelia.
He suffered a bit in our last fight
Art wise I was less active, but I also found more joy in what I do. I doodled more and finally got back into plotting stories. So of course my goal is to keep on doing that.
This was the last "big" portrait I did of Yoruko, so here in direct comparison to the new one. I like how I included all her gear last year, but I think overall I improved quite a bit, also not including everything made the portrait easier to look at. Makes me happy :)

I started a tiny sketchbook to doodle inside for inktober/drawtober. I do not intend to follow a proper prompt list, but just have some fun with ink and markers. Here are the first 4 days:
Back to my first proper portrait of Lornán, the fey Eidolon of my Summoner Orelia. Recently we learned that he might have been a bird friend?familiar?companion? to a faerie queen who got murdered and he only narrowly escaped death by finding Orelia.
Nice twist on that backstory
An other page from my sketchbook. This time I limited myself to only 5 tubes of water colour (will post them in a follow up) and I wanted to try out a new lineart
Painting it was very soothing😌. (also shout-out for the new telescope pics for showing that stars look like that✨)
An other small Orelia portrait. She is my musetouched Aasimar who I play in our War for the Crown campaign.
