i am currently in the process of building up my storefront, and drawing for my first NFT collection on holaplex. Please look forward to it! ^^)
@ChildOfTheDice First off, COTD is a collection of unique characters spanning across many genres. The artstyle i would describe as "Surreal Cartoon" with alot of fantasy and sci-fi mixed in.
This Surreal Cartoon aesthetic was made by COTD themselves who made gen 1, and i picked it up into gen 2
Hello! I've been looking around collections and geeking out over their flow of production. It's always a fascinating play of balancing quality and quantity of output!
"what if people are wondering the same of COTD?" So i thought to make this "How is a COTD made?"! (Cont)
COTD Extra Files
I inteded her to be a wandering shrine maiden, hence the ragged hood. An all-white garb is used to represent souls of the dead, so she'd be a wandering shrine maiden playing tunes for the dead.
The featured COTD will be on auction on the 24th December
Child of the Dice Extra Files #03
Speaking in production terms, this piece is actually the second piece drawn. I was still feeling around and getting used to the theme as set by COTD gen 1's artist.
This piece is on auction rn
