who would win?
a powerful foreign god or one (1) angry redhead
it’s not surprising since he WAS taught by the god of war, but anubis is so strong…! the way he strikes seth looks so effortless, but how hard did he have to hit him to knock him out like that 😭
horus i am warning you. get your bird ass over here. this man isn’t only after seth’s heart… hurry before it’s too late for me…
there’s something especially beefy about this horus… my beloved meatbun
we need to remember he wasn’t privy to those later displays of affection horus was, nor does he know the full story. i think what anubis wanted was answers, or a way forward, and the reveal gave him that. he has already tried so, so hard to understand seth.
not to mention, throughout season 1 he constantly protects seth, trying to prevent him from receiving the curse. why? because, along with craving his love, i think to horus, seth is someone who can still be saved. after all, he has already seen him at his most vulnerable.
i’m just saying much of his actions are guided by it. for example, during the first trial, horus falters as seth kisses him. when he remembers the temple, the violent and the tender seth overlap. so despite seth’s acts of violence, that single memory stays his hand.
but if he wasn’t, and he still carried out those massacres, imagine how disillusioned he would’ve been. rather than humanising him like horus, for anubis it served to further the gravity of his crimes.
firstly, i think mojito very much wants anubis and horus to be seen as character foils to one another; they are both sons of osiris and their identities as we see them in the story are shaped by seth, but they end up choosing very different paths.
