3 - The High Priestess could be likened to Persephone of Greek Mythology, someone who is able to traverse between the land of the living and the dead. This duality is shown here as an accessory of a skull/pomegranate hybrid. The classic tarot design also has pomegranates present.
1 - In the classic Rider-Waite tarot card, the High Priestess wears a horned crown. I represented this in my own way by superimposing the Priestess's head over a crescent moon in the sky - the moon also being a prominent element in the traditional tarot.
