earlier this year i collaborated with @LaureltheRadish on a very special gift for some of our dearest friends - a ketubah for their wedding! i did a design sketch & hand-wrote the text, while Laurel created the incredible finished artwork in gouache & gold ink
hey #PortfolioDay 💜 i'm a queer/trans Jewish illustrator working mainly in zines & TTRPGs at the moment but i'd love to do some album art, posters, or more graphic design! hit me up for monsters, magic & more ✨😈

18. Wayne Barlowe
okay there is ALSO no greater monster designer than Barlowe. he & Davis are equally matched. someday i WILL get my hands on a copy of his Inferno
13. Alan Lee & Brian Froud
i'm putting them together because Faeries (1978) was my introduction to fantasy art & shaped EVERYTHING about my interests/aesthetics as a child
11. Narumi Kakinouchi
my first favorite mangaka - i picked up the comics & the OVA when i was maybe 10-11, you can imagine how formative that was. Larva's mask & those background orbs just live rent free in my head forever
3. Leonard Baskin
one of the things i've really been missing in the pandemic is going to hang out with all the original Baskin art at a local gallery. i went to a retrospective in 2019 there & it was incredible. all-time fave.
