A rubbish collector passes underneath the neon signs of Portland Street in Mong Kok.

Three new signs have been added to this location recently which feels like one of the last places holding onto Hong Kong's neon heritage and visual identity.

An otherwise dark and gloomy scene comes to life with the vibrant neon sign of Victory Mahjong in Yau Ma Tei. A great example of what will be lost if Hong Kong's neon heritage is not preserved

I heard a rumor that these neons are next on the chopping block and are scheduled to be removed in a month. Such a shame if that turns out to be true.
