do you prefer scaled over detail, or detail over scaled? does it bother you at all?

A: The counter is scaled to the character but allows less room for detail

B: More room for detail, but the counter comes to the character's chin.

Getting my feet wet in some sprites again. I think a small thing like having some variation to outline colors give the sprites more character than the ones from DGU, don't you think?
