@thecosmicronin ... Shiva herself can relate to. One of the important things about Vic and Cass is that Shiva did, in fact, see some of herself in them. And was interested to see how they would develop, what kind of paths they'd take. Not because she wanted hers to be validated...

Chuck Dixon in particular was hugely fond of this, using her to hype up even one-shot villains who never showed up again.
