I really felt like drawing today, but wasn't sure if I wanted to make a Sonic, the "ignition verse" Blaze redesign or try out the old Pokemon coloring style. So I did all 3. 😄

One thing I'm really proud of in the rig is how Sonic's head movement is controlled by this chilli dog. I think this is an essential feature that I've never seen in a Sonic rig and this is incredibly upsetting.

You guys think Pokemon Coordinators rub shit in their grass-type Pokemon in preparation for Pokemon Contests?
If you give the plant-bits a trim, do you think it will hurt?
Is there decay of the plant-bits?
Is salt lethal to them?

Grass-type Pokemon are wild to think about.

The very first time I started drawing the character like this wasn't even for the project itself, but instead for SAGE 2016.

In the the design I threw in a few Sonic-themed knick-nacks including themed socks, a bracelet and a plushie which would replace the Piko Piko hammer...
