so. one week later

my new fave sheith wave is how dazed shiro is when he finds himself safe in keith's arms. maybe "new" isn't the word, that awe has been there since the beginning ("how did you know to come save me when i crashed...?"), he just gets progressively more lovestruck about it 💘

jds was bothered that someone saw this as shiro being a jerk (+ praises that jkeat says it with such weight, it isn't dismissive), so it basically jumpstarts the unpacking of shiro as someone who tries to balance emotion/mission and find strength in keeping it moving

keith bringing up shiro to motivate everyone isn't new but IMMEDIATELY GETTING TO SEE SHIRO'S REACTION CONFIRMING HIS PRIDE IS DELIGHTFULLY NEW and it's the cutest thing

the only real lance similarity is that james also said hurtful things as a result of his beef. BUT shout-out to this growth from "lmao only shiro is dumb enough to believe in you" to "i believe in you enough to think you're our only hope"

keith's eyes shimmering re: shiro in pain PRETEND THESE ARE WHAT THE KIDS CALL MOVING PICTURES or actually just rewatch the scenes because they all deserve to be rewatched through our own shimmering eyeballs
