Do you struggle to make final art that feels as loose and expressive as you envision in your sketches?
Is it possible to follow a sketch but end up with a loose, spontaneous feeling final illustration?
I explore this tension in Episode 9 of the podcast.

I love when my students doodle me while taking my classes. This one by Kira Frank.
I recently upgraded to 4th gen iPad Pro from a 2nd gen. I miss so much about the old one, incl:
-Touch ID/physical home button
-Palm rejection was better
-Bezel frame gave room to rest hand
-Lightning connector
Improvements in gen 4:
-Apple Pencil wireless charing (that's it)
Gorgeous abstract illustrations by Lisbon-based #AdamastorStudio. Great example of digital and analog illustration coming together as one!

As I'm looking for examples of Spot Illustrations, those of @hollibobs stand out to me as a perfect balance of realism and stylization. Both realism and stylization are easier on their own than perfecting in one style.

My wife and I were talking about bras yesterday (don't ask). Today I get an ad about bras. I am a non-bra wearing man and to my best knowledge have not searched bras before.
Don't tell me my Apple devices aren't listening!
