Also, a conspiracy theory that goes wayyy back
2018 to 2022, almost a 5 year lore in the making XD
@P1nkL3monade <-- THE BIRD!1!1!!
Here's our thread over the years :D
2018: https://t.co/SKj3dvBasa
2021:https://t.co/htLIuXlWq9
2022:https://t.co/3bpjVLqp2g
2018: I know it says "1 Fav Anime", but fuck it, I'm cheating with this one
Lupin III Part V and the second best idol anime, Zombieland Saga
They were my two favs that year
2018: Planet With
An unexpectedly smart, nuanced take on mecha anime with a dash of super sentai penned by the creator of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer that you can pre-order on BD RIGHT NOW and have by the end of the month, why haven't you bought it yet https://t.co/t4KCaFHgCP
2018: I was thinking of putting Celeste here, but to be honest I don't know what I could say about it that hasn't been said already, so instead I want to shout out Katamari Damacy Reroll for being the most dopamine-loaded game I have ever played in my life
2018: laid back camp came out this year too but i already put s2 in a different year
lots of yellow this year
2018: Marvel's Spider-Man
2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
2016: DOOM
2015: Shovel Knight Plague of Shadows
2018: Technically cheating since The 25th Ward was a thing back in 2005, but I literally could not play it back then and I am so, so glad it's not lost media anymore
2018: It actually kills me that I won't pick God of War but I took awhile to get around to it and am only just now in an absolutely obsessive state with the game/lore. 2 of my favorite games of ALL TIME came out this year, the first one being:
2018: Both the game and my personal taste in fighting games changed in ways that I really can't endorse current DBFZ but damn was this game important to me in that first year
2018: Did a solo pod where I listed my favs of 2018, and I placed Bloom into You in the top spot. Haven’t watched in a few years now, but I still stand by it.
2018: Celeste
It had been years since we were in our Super Meat Boy platforming prime. Celeste single-handedly rekindled our love of swift 2D movement, and it never talked down to us while we were getting our bearings. Plus, we never get tired of seeing it featured at GDQ.
2018: Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.
The first Switch Pokémon and it included some cool mechanics from the mobile game.
4 years later, still waiting for Let’s Go Johto!
Feeling a bit burnt out with yearly releases now.
