@pauls_nyc @BronzeAgeBabies A few years back (2008/9?), Marvel put out backpack sized trades of the Vampire Tales magazines from@the 1970s. Good quality. ✌🏻
today in things nobody asked for: my favourite little nightmare character, but make him 70s.👀
In one issue Meltzer does a cutesy "Hal Jordan is too good to stay dead for long 😉" easter egg cameo, and then in the next issue he reveals that Hal Jordan lobotomized Batman in the 70s.
The coolest thing to me about Marvel Comics is that the characters you pick up and read today are the very same ones introduced in the 60s and 70s. There have been no true reboots. That means Marvel Comics 616 universe is the longest running continuous narrative ever created.
Some colorful Zero Tester cels that were over on Mandarake. I am aiming to one day hunt for the settei booklet for this series, as this is some of Yas' earliest design work in the early 1970s. Some exist online, but not in good quality:
WOMEN'S SCIENCE FICTION HISTORY MONTH, A to Z!
"C" is for Mildred Clingerman, who published *17* short stories in SF's Silver Age and two in the '70s.
Her complete works have been collected by her grandson:

People believe Elvis became really fat in the 1970s. “Really fat” = 350lb. So for those who want a real “hunka love” enjoy this drawing of @coquito_papiii as the King. I think he’s left the 300s far behind him…
There's a chap wot buys a paper about the same time as me who doesn't wear a mask.he wears a balaclava. It's not a great look for those of us who lived in Belfast in the 70s....
Little bit of fun with color. First time ever drawing Bane. Was fun! Showing from appreciation for @gnolan12 and @Dixonverse. Bane got me into Batman comics, and kept my mother reading Batman when she was about to stop after nonstop since the 70s.
I think we all have days when we can empathize with dear, anxious Owl, whom Arnold Lobel created in the 1970s. Lovable, nervous Owl is beloved to this very day ❤️#OwlishMonday
@Poseidon_SF Let's get back to the 70s.Miah is now with her favorite cat band walking across the iconic pedestrian crossing!

@bigbruh180 I don’t get it. Like POC legacy characters have been going on since the 70s. Like at this point they’re a staple in the industry
Big Mom's final attack in chapter 1039 is actually a Japanese pun that means "3000 Leagues in Search of Mother", an anime in the 1970s. Big Mom releasing such an attack in the hardship might tell us about her desire to meet "mother" aka Carmel..🥰
