Question? How does this look? I added a gradient to my highlights and made some darker outline, personally I think it adds some more depth to my coloring and not looking so basic. But you all tell me how good it looks I want some imitation on this coloring style

i got the new Clip Studio version, and this autoshade feature is really subtle but i really, really like the effect. sticking it overtop the existing cell shading adds a lot of really cool depth very easily

@TimothyKurusu i pride myself in maintaining the “sketchyness” in my pieces bc i feel like it adds a level of organic that my art needs. i do however need to work more on background stuff bc i personally don’t like when my characters are in a void of grey.

Recently I got and played with the 2.0 release of CSP. I was interested in the version due to the new features. One feature I played with was the shading assist feature, which automatically adds shading to your flat color art. Here's the results and my thoughts in the thread: 1/5
CSP has just released an update that automatically adds shadows to your drawings. I did a quick test with this piece and while it still needs some polishing, I believe this is a game changer. It's very useful to at least get a reference of the shadows.

I think me dropping the salmon from mouth on a plate really adds to the experience.

Megaman 3 is a mixed bag i suppose.
On one hand its a massive step up from 2 in a lot of ways and has much less issues, but the issues it does have are big and brought the game down a lot for me. Slide was pretty fun to mess with, adds a lot to movement
