Barbarella (1968) is a who's-who of Euro pop cool. Sorta directed by Vadim & starring his then-wife Jane Fonda. Shot by Claude Renoir; Terry Southern penned the 1st draft. Hipster OST by Bob Crewe et al. Legendary Bob McGuiness poster art. Beaucoup de plaisir excessif.

I need a name for my pretty space elf OC. Thinking about some sci-fantasy, Barbarella-esque stories for her to get involved in.

Angry at the sexual harassment women experience, Molly Williams began to paint something disturbing but powerful. The resulting painting, Bloody Barbarella, was her way of speaking back and subverting the violence of misogyny.

This really is the worst time of the year for me- so let’s post another drawing to distract from that! This time it’s Jane Fonda from another favorite movie of mine- Barbarella! Ahhhh…. Jane in zero gravity. The original Jean-Claude Forest comic is pretty good lookin, too!

Speaking of coincidences, I'm watching this scene where a dude enters an old spaceship to rescue a tied up Barbarella. There are three giant spheres behind them, and I'm like...wait. Am I really seeing this? Could this actually be a thing, or am I just hallucinating?
