Such a big loss for the comic book industry. Spanish artist Carlos Pacheco passed away after announcing his ELA diagnosis last September. His art is immortal tho. (Carlos has beautifully drawn ’The Life Of Captain Marvel’ series by Margaret Stohl in 2018.)

Very saddened to learn about Carlos Pacheco passing. A hero of mine since the first time I saw his first drawings decades ago. This was well before he started to work for either Marvel or DC, but he was already an amazing artist. A great loss for the comics. RIP

I bought comics like Avengers Forever, Green Lantern, and more, just for Mr. Pacheco's art. His characters just seemed 3-Dimensional, like sculptures.
It's such a sad day.

Saddened to read the news about Carlos Pacheco this morning. He was one of the absolute best. As a teen, I spent hours staring at this image, absolutely transfixed at how beautiful it was. The man was a legend.
