My Favourite C64 Coders No.8
David Collier
As Ocean/Imagine’s main man on the C64, Dave made some of the most-played and best-loved games of the 1980s including Arkanoid, Combat School, Green Beret, Hyper Sports, Rambo, Target Renegade, Terra Cresta & Yie Ar King Fu. Blimey.
My Favourite C64 Coders No.9
Geoff Crammond
Geoff made his name with Revs in 86 & he was the guy behind the awesome Stunt Car Racer a few years later. But his best creation IMO is The Sentinel. A gripping, absorbing, unique experience and one of my all-time favourite games.
My Fave C64 Coders No.12
Chris Butler
Chris appeared in 1985 with the superb shooters Hyper Circuit & Z. After that came Commando then the brilliant Ghosts N Goblins. Next was 720, fab racers Power Drift & Turbo Charge and the excellent isometric run and gun game Arnie. Wow!

My Favourite C64 Coders No.21
Denton Designs
Denton made some of the greatest games of the golden age of 8-bit computer gaming. Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Shadowfire, Enigma Force, The Great Escape, Mutants – to name a few. All of them are original, absorbing, brilliant games.
My Fave C64 Coders No.22
Rowlands Brothers
Steve & John made some of the C64’s finest games in its twilight years, earning a ZZAP! Sizzler (Retrograde 94%) & 3 Gold Medals: Creatures (96%), Creatures 2 (97%) & the stunning achievement that is Mayhem in Monsterland (97%). Wow!
HELP WANTED: I have made a help wanted poster before this but I wanted to make another on. So here I am in need of artists, Animators, song creators, Charters, voice actors, coders for my fnf mod #fnf #trollge @FNFNewsAnnounc1
My Favourite C64 Coders No.25
Zach Townsend
Zach didn’t get off to a great start with Cobra, but he more than made up for it in the years that followed with 3 superb games - 2 ZZAP! Sizzlers - Platoon & Batman: The Caped Crusader - and the Gold Medal winning Batman: The Movie.
My Favourite C64 Coders No.26
David Fox
David worked on all three of Lucasfilm’s groundbreaking adventures, starting with Labyrinth, then the legendary point-and-click titles Maniac Mansion with Ron Gilbert and Zack McKracken with Matthew Kane. Wow!

My Favourite C64 Coders No.27
Colin Porch
Colin achieved what no one else had done before – port an isometric Spectrum game to the C64 without making it a slow-motion snooze-fest! Head Over Heels is brilliant, as is Operation Wolf and Gryzor/Contra is pretty darn good too.
The Matrix Angel, coders of the metaverse will surprise you in @MetaLife_ !
Don't miss it and grab one on OpenSea

My Favourite C64 Coders No.28
Andrew Spencer
If, like me, you played International Soccer to death as a kid, Andrew Spencer will be a name you’re very familiar with. Andrew’s other great games include the brilliant International Basketball and Street Sports Basketball.
My Favourite C64 Coders No.34
John Darnell
John made a variety of great C64 games. He co-coded Dragon's Lair & Escape From Singe’s Castle for Software Projects & alone made the budget hits Kane/Kane 2 (Mastertronic) as well as Match Day 2 (Ocean) & Star Paws (S.P. again).
Degree-less German and American kids wake up to code and set up many startups used worldwide including by Kenyan Members of Parliament. Meanwhile, Kenyan MPs pass a law requiring Kenyan coders to have a degree, to register, pay an annual fee for a license. Very colonised minds.⚖️
My Favourite C64 Coders No.36
Gregg Barnett
Gregg worked on a diverse range of games from The Hobbit and Sherlock to Hungry Horace and Rock N Wrestle. But his finest achievement is one of the greatest C64 games ever made. The magnificent, The Way of the Exploding Fist.
My Fave C64 Coders No.39
Martin Walker
Martin’s first C64 game was 1985's Rupert & the Toymaker’s Party. In 86 he made Chameleon & in 87 came Hunter’s Moon. He then chronicled the making of Citadel in ZZAP’s ‘Walker's Way'. All ace games. So, we can forgive Back to the Future.
