The practice session before the 1994 Daytona 500 was tragedy filled. Not only did our sport lose Neil Bonnett a few days later we lost Champion racer Rodney Orr. After investigating both crashes came down to a shock mount that broke. Pictured here is a simular part sample! 🙏

TV was not enough for Neil !
He still had that desire to race! Dale an Richard Childress had Neil do some testing for their team. Cleared to race again in 1993 and a few races for RCR were unlucky! 1994 Neil lost his life in a practice crash at the season opener at Daytona🙏
