When you think about it, One More Day's story was the prime example of why one shouldn't take superhero comics from the Big 2 as seriously as Twitter does, there's no character development as it's at the whim of editors who can dictate what should happen to the character.

If you wanna work in comics you actually have to make comicbooks. I know sounds obvious but most people miss that step and demand to work in comics 😶 make some cool comics, learn from them, then you've got something to show the editors your coldcalling and blackmailing for work.

-Fantastic Art/Artists

I would show my samples to mainstream editors who rightfully pointed out the mistakes... but I wouldn't fix them. Instead, I turned to the indies to concentrate on my own comics. When *those* didn't go anywhere, my attention went back to superheroes. It was a stubborn loop.
